Visas for Japan

The secretariat will help you with providing the necessary documents for your application. How many days it takes for the procedure varies depending on countries or situations, yet since it usually takes months, we strongly recommend you to start the request procedure as soon as possible.

Please contact your nearest embassy or consulate and check the necessary document to be prepared both by yourself and by the secretariat. Then contact us with the information from the embassy and provide us with the information below.

Though the due date for the early pre-registration is May 31, 2002, if you and any of your co-authors from the same country will attend the conference, it is strongly requested that you make initial contact with the secretariat by May 20, 2002. After that date the secretariat can not accept any inquiries about visas.

Please note that the secretariat will provide the documents only for authors of ISMB8.
